A public university on the south coast whose history runs back to 1908, when the Park Building opened as a municipal college and public library. It was Portsmouth Polytechnic until 1992, and retains a practical, applied character alongside strong health and science provision.
Both direct entry and foundation or pathway routes are available here. If your grades or English score fall short of direct admission, the pathway route is a genuine alternative to waiting a year.
