A business-facing university just north of London, built from the post-war Hatfield technical college and Hatfield Polytechnic, and granted university status in 1992. Its proximity to London without London living costs is a large part of why students choose it.
Both direct entry and foundation or pathway routes are available here. If your grades or English score fall short of direct admission, the pathway route is a genuine alternative to waiting a year.
