About the university

Why students choose the University of South Wales

Formed from the merger of Glamorgan and Newport, across campuses in Pontypridd, Cardiff and Newport, with strong applied provision in policing, aviation and engineering.

Both direct entry and foundation or pathway routes are available here. If your grades or English score fall short of direct admission, the pathway route is a genuine alternative to waiting a year.

Tuition, entry requirements and intake dates differ by programme and change each year. Ask us for the current figures for the course you are considering rather than relying on published averages.
