1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the GESCO Study Abroad website, located at Hijaz Towers, Mecca Street, Office 305, Building 158, Amman, Jordan (the “Website”).

The Website provides information about studying abroad and the services offered by GESCO. The information provided is for general guidance only and does not constitute advice specific to your individual case.

These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between you, as a user of the Website, and GESCO for Study Abroad Services (“GESCO” or the “Company”), as the owner and operator of the Website. These Terms and Conditions do not, by themselves, constitute an agreement for the provision of Study Abroad Services and only govern your access to and use of the Website.

By accessing the Website, using its services, or downloading any content from it, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and acknowledge that you have read and understood the Website’s Privacy Policy, and any other policies, instructions, or guidelines published on the Website or communicated to you from time to time.

GESCO may amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Website after any changes means that you accept the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms regularly. Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice of any material changes.

“User”: Any natural or legal person who accesses the Website or uses any of its services.

“Service Agreement”: means any separate written agreement entered into between GESCO and a User or Client governing the specific educational consultancy, study-abroad, admission, application, or other Services to be provided by GESCO, including the applicable fees and the respective rights and obligations of the parties.

“Privacy Notice”: means GESCO’s privacy notice, as amended from time to time in accordance with applicable law, which explains how GESCO collects, uses, processes, stores, discloses, transfers, retains, and protects Personal Data and how Data Subjects may exercise their rights in relation to such Personal Data.

“Terms and Conditions” or “Terms”: means these Website Terms and Conditions governing access to and use of the Website.

3. Eligibility

  • The User confirms that they have full legal capacity to use the Website and agree to these Terms and Conditions in accordance with the applicable laws of Jordan.
  • If you are under the age of 18, you must not submit an application, Personal Data, or documents through the Website unless this is done by, or with the involvement of, your parent or legal guardian, as required by applicable law. The parent or legal guardian shall be responsible for the minor’s use of the Website and for any financial or legal obligations arising from such use.
  • GESCO may request information or documents at any time to verify the User’s identity, age, legal status, or eligibility to use the services.
  • When submitting any form or information through the Website, the User confirms that the information provided is accurate and that they have the right to provide or share it. Users under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian contact GESCO on their behalf. For security and privacy reasons, users should not submit passports, financial statements, or other sensitive documents through general contact forms. GESCO will provide instructions for securely submitting such documents once the User’s file has been opened.

4.1 Accuracy of Information

The information provided on the Website is for general guidance and may change over time. In particular:

  • Tuition fees and living costs: The amounts shown are indicative ranges only. Tuition fees are set and revised by universities annually and may vary depending on the university and program.
  • Intake dates and deadlines: Intake dates indicate the periods during which universities accept new students. Exact application deadlines vary by university and program.
  • Entry requirements: Admission and entry requirements vary depending on the university, program, and the applicant’s nationality.
  • University rankings: Rankings are published by independent third parties and are generally updated annually. Where a ranking is displayed, we will identify the ranking table and the relevant year.
  • Degree recognition: Recognition of a degree in the User’s home country is determined by the relevant government authorities and professional bodies in that country, not by GESCO or the university. Recognition requirements and decisions may change over time.

4.2 Partner Universities

The Website may list universities and educational institutions with which GESCO has agreements or to which GESCO may submit applications on behalf of students.

Listing an institution does not guarantee admission, availability of a particular program or intake, or acceptance of an application. It also does not constitute an endorsement of every aspect of the institution.

University names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the institutions with which GESCO works.

4.3 Website Content and Permitted Use

Unless otherwise stated, the text, guides, designs, graphics, and layout of the Website are owned by GESCO or used with permission.

  • Users may access, read, share, and print Website content for their personal, non-commercial use.
  • Users may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or use the Website’s content for commercial purposes without GESCO’s prior written permission.

5. Separate Agreement for Services

If you become a client of GESCO, the services provided to you, applicable fees, refund arrangements, and the respective rights and obligations of you and GESCO will be governed by a separate written agreement.

These Website Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Notice continue to apply to you whenever you access or use the Website, whether as a visitor or as a client of GESCO.

Once you enter into a written agreement or contract with GESCO, that agreement is legally binding on you and GESCO and governs the services covered by it. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between the written Services agreement and these Website Terms and Conditions, the Service Agreement shall prevail solely in relation to the Study Abroad Services governed by that Service Agreement.

GESCO may provide links to university, embassy, government, or other third-party websites for convenience and informational purposes.

These websites are operated independently from GESCO. GESCO does not control or endorse their content, services, policies, or practices and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, security, or handling of your personal information.

Users should review the terms, privacy policies, and other applicable policies of any third-party website they visit through a link on the GESCO Website.

7. Rules of Use and Acceptable Conduct

The User must use the Website and its services lawfully, ethically, and in accordance with applicable laws, these Terms and Conditions, and any instructions or policies issued by GESCO. In addition, the user must follow any additional instructions or policies issued by GESCO regarding the use of the Website, services, tests, or certificates.

The User must not:

  • Use the Website or its services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, or in violation of public order, public morals, or the rights of others.
  • Submit false or misleading information or provide another person’s documents or personal information without their permission.
  • Share their account credentials or allow others to use their account.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Any dispute or disagreement arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amman, Jordan.
