Entry requirements
UNIC's qualifications table lists the Jordanian Certificate of Higher Education (Tawjihi) with standard entry at 60% or above, special admission at 50 to 59%, and 75% or above for programmes with higher entry requirements.
The minimum undergraduate requirement is a recognised High School Leaving Certificate; some programmes have higher entry requirements, and the Medical School has its own admissions.
Undergraduate programmes taught in English require, for example, IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 72; students with IELTS 4.5 or above take a placement test and receive English support classes.
Master's applicants need a recognised bachelor's degree and English such as IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 79, unless their first degree was taught in English.
Indicative deadlines for international students are late June for the September (Fall) intake and late October for the February (Spring) intake.
Non-EU students are advised to contact the Admissions Department for guidance on visa and residence permit requirements, which vary by nationality and programme.
