Country-based criteria
Each applicant must meet the university's country-based minimum diploma or exam criteria; Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy may require higher scores than other programmes.
Exam validity
School-leaving exams such as Tawjihi, IB, GCE and Abitur have no validity limit, while university entrance exams such as SAT are valid for two years.
English proficiency
To skip the English preparatory year, students can present results such as TOEFL iBT 65, PTE Academic 55 or the university's own proficiency exam at 60, all valid for two years.
Master's degree
Master's applicants need a recognised bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00 for science and social sciences programmes, or 2.50/4.00 for health sciences.
Equivalency certificate
For undergraduate registration, the university may require an official equivalency certificate confirming the foreign high-school diploma is equivalent to a Turkish one.
