About the university
A public research university in Tbilisi formed in 2006 from the merger of six institutions, and among the strongest research universities in the South Caucasus. Around 16,000 students across twelve campuses, with more than 800 international students from over 65 countries and a growing English-taught portfolio.

Entry requirements
Bachelor's programmes in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and master's in Applied Genetics and Atmospheric and Near Space Sciences; some other English programmes were closed to international applicants after a reform.
Applicants need CEFR B2 English, shown by an international certificate or a letter confirming English-medium study; otherwise they can request the university's online B2 test.
Depending on the programme, entrance exams in English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Chemistry are held online via Zoom.
A non-refundable 150 US dollar fee is paid after preliminary approval and covers Georgian translation, notarisation and recognition through the national agency (EQE).
There are two intakes a year, with deadlines of 30 July for the fall semester and 15 December for the spring semester.
After document processing (up to 2 weeks), students sign the agreement, pay tuition within 5 days and receive an invitation letter for the D3 study visa.
