Questions
Can I study in Ireland with the Tawjihi?
Yes. 1 of our partner universities there accept the Tawjihi for direct entry to a bachelor's, 5 ask for a foundation year first.
What Tawjihi average do I need for Ireland?
Published minimums range from 77% (National College of Ireland) to 80% (Trinity College Dublin), and vary by course.
Do I need a foundation year for Ireland?
Usually, yes: 5 of 6 partner universities don't accept the Tawjihi alone for direct entry and start with a foundation year or a year at university. Only 1 accept it directly.
Does meeting the minimum guarantee me a place?
No. The published minimum is the lowest average a university will consider, and each course sets its own grades, subjects and English level. We check the requirements for your course before you apply.
Where this data comes from
Every Tawjihi minimum comes from the official admissions page of a GESCO partner university, linked next to each entry. This is guidance, not an offer: each course sets its own grades, subjects and English level. Fees are converted to JOD approximately, at rates of 26 October 2026.
