Documents in English
At the Kando Kalman Faculty of Electrical Engineering, applicants send English translations of high school transcripts (showing Maths, Physics and English), the school leaving certificate, a passport copy, a CV and proof of English.
English level
BSc applicants need, for example, IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL iBT 65 (MSc: IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 70); this can be waived if previous studies were fully in English.
Entrance tests
Applicants take entrance tests in Mathematics and Physics (plus drawing for Industrial Design Engineering) and a personal interview via MS Teams.
Notarised documents
Every school leaving document must be notarised, even if the original is in English.
Decision time
Applicants are notified of acceptance or rejection within 60 days after the complete application is reviewed.
Guidance only: meeting a requirement does not guarantee an offer, and each course sets its own grades and English level. Checked October 2026.
