Medical entrance exam

Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and the Basic Medicine Course require an entrance exam: 45-minute written tests in Biology plus Chemistry or Physics, followed by an oral exam.

Possible exam outcomes

Applicants may be admitted to first year, admitted to the preparatory Basic Medicine Course, rejected, or offered a different programme.

Health science programmes

Nursing needs a written Biology exam plus an English interview; Physiotherapy, Public Health and several master programmes need an entrance interview.

Non-medical programmes

Non-medical programmes use an English and subject entrance exam or interview covering motivation, previous education and English level; weaker results may lead to a Foundation Programme.

Application and exam fees

The application fee is 150 USD and the entrance exam fee is 350 USD; exams are held in English, and representatives host local exam sessions.

What tuition includes

For 2026/27, health insurance, the medical check-up and the student card are included in the tuition fee.
