One of the oldest and most selective universities in the UK, with global standing in medicine, informatics and the humanities. Entry requirements are high and applications close early.
Both direct entry and foundation or pathway routes are available here. If your grades or English score fall short of direct admission, the pathway route is a genuine alternative to waiting a year.
Tuition, entry requirements and intake dates differ by programme and change each year. Ask us for the current figures for the course you are considering rather than relying on published averages.

Entry requirements
The Tawjihi is not accepted for direct entry to a bachelor's; students usually complete a foundation year first, such as Edinburgh's one-year International Foundation Programme.
For some College of Science and Engineering programmes without a foundation pathway, students with exceptional grades may be eligible for an internal admissions test, which is being phased out.
Applicants from the Middle East are admitted directly with GCE A Levels, the IB, or an American High School Diploma with SATs or APs.
All applicants must meet the English language requirement set for their programme, regardless of nationality.
