A public research university whose roots run back to the Coventry School of Design in 1843. It became Lanchester Polytechnic in 1970, named after the engineer Frederick Lanchester, then Coventry Polytechnic in 1980 and a university in 1992. That engineering lineage still defines it, particularly in automotive and transport design.

Applying from Jordan
A levels, IB or American diploma
Three A level passes at grade C or above, the International Baccalaureate, or an American high school diploma with two APs at 2 or higher are considered for undergraduate entry.
Top-up
Students who have completed year 2 with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4 are considered for top-up entry, subject to a syllabus match.
English for bachelor's
IELTS 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each component, or TOEFL iBT 79 with at least 18 in each component.
English for master's
IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each component, or TOEFL iBT 88 with at least 19 in each component.
