Overview
Ireland offers what many students want from the UK while remaining inside the EU. Degrees are taught in English, the graduate stay-back option gives time to find work after finishing, and Dublin's concentration of technology and pharmaceutical employers creates real graduate opportunities.
Accommodation is the pressure point. Dublin's student housing market is genuinely tight, and we start on housing far earlier here than for most destinations.

What it costs
Irish Immigration describes EUR 10,000 as the estimated cost of living for a student for one academic year; for 6 to 8 month stays the requirement is EUR 833 a month.
Tuition ranges are the international fees published by our partner universities in Ireland, per year. Some specialist programmes cost more.

Student visa
Jordanian citizens need a long term study (D) visa. You must first be accepted on a full-time course, and you can apply up to 3 months before you travel.
Fill in the application on the AVATS online system, then print, sign and date the summary form. It tells you where to send your documents and how to pay.
Include your college acceptance letter, proof of academic and English ability, and proof of fees paid. Documents must reach the visa office within 30 days of applying online.
You must show immediate access to at least EUR 10,000 for the first year, and ready access to the same amount for each later year.
After you arrive, register with Irish Immigration to get your Irish Residence Permit (IRP) card for your student permission.
Visa rules change. Always follow the official guidance for your application date; ask us to check your file before you submit. Also see irishimmigration.ie. Checked November 2026.

Ask on WhatsAppNine to twelve months before the intake if you want scholarship options and a realistic choice of universities. Three to four months is possible for some destinations but narrows what is available, and for anything requiring an entrance examination or a competitive visa appointment it is usually too late. Start by talking to us, not by choosing a university.
For a first assessment we only need your academic transcripts and certificates, and your English test result if you have one. Passport, financial evidence and references come later, once we have agreed a shortlist. Do not send passports or bank statements through a website form.
Not to begin. We can assess your profile and build a shortlist without it, and many universities will issue a conditional offer that you meet later. What the score needs to be depends on the university and the programme, and some institutions accept their own internal test or a pathway route instead.
Most study destinations allow international students to work a limited number of hours during term, but the rules differ by country and are revised regularly. Ask us for the current position for your destination rather than relying on what a friend did two years ago.
Every destination sets its own financial requirement, and it usually covers first-year tuition plus a set living cost figure. The amount, how long it must have been in the account, and whose account it can be in all vary. We prepare this to your embassy's exact current requirements as part of the visa service.
We tell you the likely reason and whether an appeal or a fresh application is the better route. Most refusals we see come from financial evidence that was technically correct but presented the wrong way, which is preventable. Universities will often defer an offer to the next intake rather than withdraw it.
Yes. The UK and Ireland have taught one-year master's degrees as standard, and they are recognised internationally including across the Gulf and in Jordan. The year is intensive rather than shortened, and for most students it means one year of tuition and living costs instead of two.
Several destinations offer a post-study work route, and in some cases a pathway toward permanent residence. The duration and conditions change with government policy, sometimes at short notice, so treat any figure you read online as needing confirmation. Ask us for the position that applies in the intake you are planning for.
